Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in TV. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. De La Garza emigrated shortly to Texas and studied in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas before moving in Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles including local independent films and international commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from finding out that she enjoyed acting. She relocated to New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. Through the first half of the decade she was seen in tiny part for JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside many famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards for her character including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko and was also the spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are from Italian heritage and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was a very strict and spiritual one. Milano was first introduced to acting at age seven old. The babysitter took her to the first audition. Four girls were chosen from more than a thousand aspirants. Milano performed on TV ads as well as off Broadway programs, such as the American first adaptation musical from Jane Eyre.
